1. Sound corporate profit-making activities
(1) Thorough compliance with corporate ethics and relevant laws and regulations
We will build a corporate culture of fairness and transparency in our business activities and comply with international rules, related laws, social ethics, company regulations and other relevant statutes to become a company that is trusted by all stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, business partners, employees and their families.
(2) Implementation of the principles of free competition and fair trade
We will strive to eliminate fraudulent or unfair practices and suspicious behavior that impede free competition, and to achieve fair competition and trade under the principle of free competition.
In addition, we will provide accurate information about products, materials, technologies, quality assurance, and services to our customers and business partners.
(3) Prohibition of abuse of dominant position
We will ensure that we conduct reasonable transactions with our business partners based on contracts, etc. and will not abuse our dominant position in transactions such as buyers or principals to force the other party to accept specific conditions or unequal transactions, or to pursue personal interests.
In addition, we will require, and assist our business partner companies, to likewise comply with good laws and regulations, social ethics, good quality assurance, respect for human rights, work environment, production safety and health, environmental protection, information security, etc.
(4) Prohibit corruption and bribery, excessive entertainment and gift-giving
We will abide by the relevant laws and regulations, maintain good and normal relations with the relevant departments of the national government, do not pay bribes, and do not make illegal political contributions.
In addition, when dealing with customers or business partners, we will use social common sense as a standard and refrain from unfair or unjust benefit-shifting entertainment and gift-giving that can cause misunderstanding among stakeholders.
(5) Rejection of anti-social forces
We refuse any association, including business dealings, with any group or organization that poses a threat to social order and security.
In addition, we maintain a policy of rejecting undue demands and cooperate with relevant authorities, experts, and administrative bodies in an organized effort to counteract antisocial forces.
(6) Protection and Use of Intellectual Property Rights
We will endeavor to protect, preserve, and utilize our intellectual property rights.
In addition, when developing, producing, selling, and providing products and services, we will conduct thorough investigations in advance so as not to infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Also, when we need to obtain information about intellectual property rights from third parties, we will use legal and fair means.
(7) Import and export control
In order to maintain international peace and security, we will comply with relevant international agreements and export control laws and regulations when exporting products and parts, or providing technology or software to foreign countries, and will apply for the necessary procedures with the relevant governmental supervisory bodies. In addition, we do not purchase materials and products made from so-called "conflict minerals" and metals derived from them in order to cut off the sources of funding for armed groups and other groups that violate human rights. We also require our business partners to implement the same policy.
(8) Appropriate management of company assets
We will properly manage our assets (tangible and intangible assets such as finished products, parts, materials, supplies, equipment, and business information including personal information) in accordance with our company regulations. Furthermore, we will ensure that our company assets are used only for our business and will not be used for personal purposes or disclosed to third parties, not only during our employment but also after our retirement.
In particular, we will treat business information as confidential information to prevent loss, leakage, or falsification, etc. We will keep it properly according to the different levels of confidentiality. In addition, we ensure that we will only obtain business information in a legal and fair manner.
(9) Prohibition of insider trading
We will not disclose insider information about the Sigma Optical Group or its affiliated companies that we learn in the course of our work to unrelated persons.
In addition, we will not buy or sell stocks of related companies based on the insider information we know.
(10) Internal Reporting System
We will establish and maintain an internal whistle-blowing system that is separate from our daily work command system to ensure that we can promptly report the existence or suspected existence of illegal, unethical, non-compliance with company rules, or violation of relevant regulations by our internal personnel.
2. Respect for the rights of people
(1) Respect for human rights and fair treatment
We observe international rules on the protection of human rights and respect fundamental human rights and human dignity. We respect freedom of religion, do not discriminate against differences in nationality, gender, physical characteristics or age, and do not use forced labor or child labor. We will require the same of our business partners.
In addition, we strive to create a work environment that is mutually tolerant of different personalities, values, and differences, and that is sound and free of discrimination and harassment, and where unique personalities can flourish.
(2) Provide a safe and comfortable work environment
We comply with laws, rules and internal regulations regarding labor and company safety, hygiene and health, and take the necessary safety and health measures to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable work environment for our employees. We avoid overwork, conduct regular health checkups and stress tests, keep track of physical and mental health conditions, and strive for prevention and early detection of physical and mental health problems.

3. Protection of the natural environment

(2) Business improvement based on environmental management system
We will establish an environmental management system to grasp the environmental impact of all corporate activities and use PDCA management practices to continuously improve and prevent pollution and further efficient use of energy and resources.
(3) Provide environmentally friendly products and services
We strive to reduce environmental burdens in all aspects of our business activities, from raw material procurement to design, development, manufacturing, logistics, sales, service, use, recycling and disposal, and to provide environmentally friendly products and services.
(4) Promoting the development of environmental technologies
We not only comply with relevant environmental protection laws and regulations, but also strive to introduce energy-saving equipment, develop environmentally friendly technologies, and strictly manage the composition of hazardous substances in an effort to reduce the emission of harmful chemical substances and control the generation of hazardous waste.

As a manufacturing company in the optical industry, we fully understand the impact we have on our customers' businesses and society. We will establish a set of systems to ensure continuous supply of products by maintaining production in the unlikely event of serious business difficulties, while ensuring the lives of our personnel, and strive to build a relationship of mutual trust with our customers and society.
(3) Establishing mutual understanding with society through two-way communication
Our entire company will actively, sincerely and transparently communicate with society and various stakeholders so that more people will recognize the Sigma Optical Group and deepen mutual understanding.
In addition, in order to better fulfill our corporate responsibilities, we will improve the reliability of our financial reports through appropriate financial processing and disclose corporate information in a timely, appropriate and fair manner.
